1st DENTON BB - AWARDS
The 1st Denton runs the 'Discover' Award Scheme. This means that everyone gets to take part in a really wide range of activities to win badges. All the activities are divided up into different zones:
Community Zone has the sub-zones: local & national, international, nature & environment and Christian Faith.
Recreation Zone has the sub-zones: outdoor & adventure, sports & games, health & lifestyle and Christian faith.
Skills Zone has the sub zones: interests, creativity, life skills and Christian faith
Each zone has a badge that you can gain by completing different fun topics from that zone. The badges go up to four different levels. All the badges shown here are level 1 badges.
In addition to the zone badges you can also gain the Compass Badge in the first year, and the Discovery Badge in the second or later years. There are a few extra things you need to do to be able to win these Special badges.
