1st Denton were chosen as the hosts for the North West group stage of the National 5-a-side football (<14 section). We booked the JJB Soccerdome, and invited all the other teams to take part in the competiton on Saturday 12th January 2008. It was a great competition with all companies enjoying a great afternoon and a great venue. Thanks must also go to our referees from Denton: Andy, Liam and Phil.

After a great start our team lost its way a little and we ended up with only 2 wins out of a possible 5. This gave us a total of 6 points and a final placing of 4th in the group. Only the group winners go through to the next round and this honour went to the 16th Liverpool, with 4 wins and 1 draw.
